        Verdict

        An 11lb rise in the weights brought the winning run of DANIEL THOMAS to an end last Saturday, but this looks an easier opportunity and he gets the vote in a tough race to call. Alhaban was awarded the race after finishing second to Wisecraic here a week ago but was well beaten before that by the selection, while King's Colour had Potentiale over four lengths behind when scoring over C&D in December and he could figure in the finish. Bath winner Jordaurais finding life tough in handicaps at present but is another with claims in this company.
