        Verdict

        Mitigate has not improved as expected and the drop back to 5f last time didn’t suit. Havelock has yet to reproduce an earlier second at Chester in a couple of subsequent starts on the all-weather while Arctic Sea failed to settle and could finish only fifth when sent off favourite at Newcastle. But at least DARK TITAN is going the right way and showed good progress to finish third here last month without threatening the winner. Ed Walker’s charge gets the vote with the returning Road To Dubai one to note.
