Verdict
This is a very weak event and Coppington Flyer has as good a chance as any, Muqtadi and Night Cap can also get involved in the action. The selection, although not having won a race for almost two years, is quite a consistent performer. His recent third behind Indian Blaze here last time is decent enough form in the context of this event and he appears to be the form choice. Muqtadi was well behind Fraternity last time, but had earlier finished second to Teyaar. If he puts his best hoof forward today he should be in the shake up. Night Cap wasn't been far behind Zinging over the seven furlong trip last time, he tries this distance for the first time but has plenty of stamina on the dams side, so shouldn't have a problem and may make the frame. So a race that will not throw up too many future winners, but Coppington Lad should be ready to take first prize today
