Not too much form on show here and Danawi looks a strong contender, Miss Patricia and Very Clear could provide most danger. Richard Hannon's colt reached a rating of 78 on the turf following some solid placed efforts. He made his all-weather debut here in November and wasn't beaten far behind Nyarhini, if fit following a five month break he should be good enough to win a race of this nature. Miss Patricia performed well in maidens and handicaps during the last turf season and as her dam was a winner on the equitrack there is a good chance she will handle this surface. The pick of the newcomers should be Very Clear. She is by Loup Suavage and related to numerous winners, any market move would be significant. The rest make very little appeal and so in what looksa modest affair Danawi is a confident choice.
