    Verdict

    Both Billy's Boots and Little Cupcake find winning hard with career statistics of 1-15 and 1-39 respectively so it's hard to be enthusiastic about their claims against a couple of much more solid performers. Picansort, a course and distance winner, faces the starter for the 89th occasion, during which time he's notched no less than 10 all-weather successes, eight achieved at this venue. He retains some ability at the age of 10 but is not ideally suited by race conditions, meeting NAG'S WAG at level weights despite being 8lb lower on official ratings. The latter scored here last time in a similar contest and connections appear to have found another good opportunity for the daughter of Approve.
