    Verdict

Zihaam won at Beverley last week and a penalty is negated by an apprentice’s allowance. The Game Is On won an amateurs’ race at Goodwood and will find this tougher but Quemonda is one to consider having won twice over track and trip since returning to action. It was puzzling to see BORN A KING over 7f last time having gone close over today’s distance at Redcar before that. The William Haggas-trained colt gets another chance with headgear fitted today while Zeimaam is preferred to Libretti and Mr Top Hat as he steps up in trip.
