Verdict

ONENIGHTINLISBON could be the one to get punters out on a winning note; Napoletano and Cat Whistle are taken to fill the placings. Onenightinlisbon finished third last time out over this trip at Great Leighs which indicated a return to something close to his best. He has made the running in the past which has proved difficult to do here over the last number of months but he is most effective when those tactics are applied. Napoletano does require some cajoling which was clearly evident last time. For that reason cheek-pieces are now reapplied but that second looks the most solid recent form on offer here. Cat Whistle didn't appear to see out the nine furlong trip on her latest start. She has dropped to a more workable mark now though and being only twice raced over a mile, she has place claims. Top-weight Pension Policy has the first time visor now applied. If that has the desired effect she has a chance given her lightly raced profile which has some respectable form amongst it. Moon Crystal did not respond to first time blinkers on her last start but would come into the equation on her previous second over a furlong further. Onenightinlisbon is given the vote to land it.
