Verdict

Perfect Act marked her recent return from a lay-off with a narrow margin victory over C&D. Another bold bid is expected here but preference goes to ANNE OF KIEV. Jeremy Gask's mare also won over C&D last time but, swooping into the lead in the closing stages, she appeared to do so with a bit in hand. A 4lb rise in the weights may not be enough to prevent her following up. Vintage remains in fine fettle and can figure along with Methaaly, who is also holding his form well.
