      Verdict

      Crimson Fern went close over course and distance last time and is taken to go one better this afternoon, the in-form pairing of Savile's Delight and Arfinit could give the selection most to do. Majestical and Desert Light are others with claims but have ground to make up on the selection on their running behind Follow The Flag. Crimson Fern can be rated a shade unfortunate not to have landed that contest as she raced keenly and edged to her right. Those traits are forgivable given that it was only her sixth start and she can find the necessary improvement to atone. Savile's Delight has been running well over the minimum lately but sees this trip out well enough and should be in the mix again whilst Arfinit has also been holding his form well and must enter calculations. Competitive fare but Crimson Fern can land the spoils.
