Verdict
Bubbly Bellini is well worth another try back here and will be no easy beat, though preference is for TATAWOR, while American Agent, Miss Lesley and Anjomarba all have claims in a competitive seller. Although not quite meeting some on the same terms as if this were a handicap, there is not much in it at the weights, and Tatawor has a few things to recommend him. Firstly, Jim Boyle remains in good form, plus his lightly-raced three-year-old will find this a bit easier than a couple of the maidens that he has contested. He acts well on the surface and over the trip and with first-time blinkers viewed as a positive we will side with him. American Agent is another with first-time headgear attached. He has been comfortably beaten on all three starts so far, but there is no reason why he can't show more now dropped into this grade, and having his first run over the trip. Miss Lesley won a claimer over course and distance last month and performed with plenty of credit over the minimum trip at Kempton last time. Back here and over 6f, with the yard also going well, she is seen as a threat. Southwell scorer Anjomarba is a specialist at the trip and has every chance of turning the tables on Bubbly Bellini at these weights, after finishing behind that rival at Wolverhampton, but preference is for Tatawor.
