Verdict
The framing of this claimer leads us to look to support TUSCAN KING, but Clayton Flick and Highland Cadett can't be ignored. The selection has already won a Polytrack claimer and seller since the turn of the year, and has been running consistently well. He's the highest rated of those to have a mark, and is conceding less weight than if this was a truly run handicap. It's his longest trip to date, but he stays on well and the extra furlong shouldn't be an inconvenience. Highland Cadett steps up in trip following a disappointing debut here earlier in the month. The Millmans' only runner on the card clearly isn't the stable star, being thrown into a claimer second time out, but there aren't any world-beaters here, and the yard do do well here.. Clayton Flick is six pounds worse off with Tuscan King than if this was a handicap, and remains a maiden after 11 outings. He keeps getting close to landing some spoils but regularly finds one too good. A slight step up in trip may be the key to finding success. It's a typically trappy Lingfield claimer, with preference being for Tuscan King.
