      Verdict

Prince Vector is given the nod here ahead of Eastborough and Cash On. Alan King's four-year-old is racing on the all-weather for the first time but has shown tremendous form on the turf. He was successful at Leicester last September off a mark of 76 and showed he had trained on with an excellent second to Top Seed at Bath last month off a six pound higher rating. He looks certain to come on for the run and looks the one to beat this afternoon. Eastborough has been knocking on the door recently on the turf but he has also shown plenty of form here during the winter months. He still looks on a fair mark and another big run is expected. Down at the bottom of the handicap Cash On has claims on the pick of last season's form and has the assistance of Richard Hughes. The best of the rest could be Mister Right, but Prince Vector is expected to come on leaps and bounds and he can give weight and a beating to his rivals today.
