In depth
Verdict
Majeed can figure if reproducing his second in the Wolferton at Ascot while Abareeq scored over track and trip back in March and is 3lb higher today. A winner on the all-weather in France early in the year, PRIMERO was having his first start since June and debuting for David O’Meara when not far behind Pactolus at Wolverhampton last month. He looks fairly treated on that form and should be in the firing-line today. Hajaam’s winning run came to an end off today’s mark at Kempton last time and is up in class while Brandon Castle’s earlier hat-trick came over longer trips.
