Priceoflove rates as good value in the finale, while Sweet Pickle and Dark Moon are more obvious types that will help to frame a good price about the selection. Dark Moon had been in danger of becoming frustrating before winning his penultimate start. But the flip side of his nature resurfaced with lacklustre display at Wolverhampton 12 days ago. She did meet a little trouble in running but the way she downed tools was off-putting and she cannot be recommended with more than tepid confidence. Sweet Pickle, on the other hand, is real gutsy type and never seems to run a bad race. That said, she does look susceptible to a less exposed type and will need everything to go her way. especially if the selection continues to thrive for Peter Makin's patient approach. The Wiltshire-based trainer has enjoyed a good spell this winter and dropping this Irish-bred filly to the minimum trip may prove to be another inspired move.
