Verdict

OVER TO YOU BERT gained a deserved success last time out and he can get his head in front again here; the list of dangers is headed by Cavalry Guard and Admirals Way. The selection had slipped to an attractive mark and he won in impressive fashion last time out. He looks capable of going in again off this mark, and he does boast a fair strike-rate on the all-weather. Cavalry Guard usually reserves his best form for this course and distance and he ran a sound race last time out when he finished fourth behind Ardent Prince. He looks booked for a place, while Admirals Way is a capable performer but he is still searching for his first all-weather success and this will be his fourteenth try. Sands of Barra is having his first run since September so he is likely to be sharper for this, and we will stick with Over to You Bert as the pick.
