    In depth

    Verdict

Smugglers Gold is related to a Polytrack winner and makes more appeal than stablemate Intense Feeling and the Jo Hughes' runners Diamond Lady and Marilyn Marquessa. M'selle and Hedy have plenty of speed in their pedigrees and should be noted in the betting ahead of Outback Lover but a speculative vote goes the way of EL DUQUE. Bill Turner has already tasted success with his two-year-olds having won the Brocklesby at Doncaster on Friday and his Byron colt may be far enough forward to land this.
