Verdict
Another wide open handicap rounds off the card but the main protagonists look to be Belle Rouge, Champagne Shadow and Compton Eclaire and the vote goes to Bella Rouge. The selection was a fair second behind TungstenStrike last time out and need only reproduce that effort to score off the same mark here. Champagne Shadow rates the main danger on his latest second behind Kentmere. He should appreciate this much longer trip and he will not be far away.Compton Eclaire is another worthy of respect he was a fair fourth behind Portrait of A Lady last time but he has had plenty of chances in similar races without taking one so he is passed over on this occasion. Pay The Silver and Most-Saucy are both on handy marks and are worth noting in the market but they are unproven at the trip and for the winner we return to Bella Rouge.
