ROBIN HOODS BAY will have come on for a recent pipe-opener over a mile here and looks to have very chance of repeating last year's victory in this. He's better off at the weights with the runner-up Strictly Silver this time round and also had Tinshu well behind last year. Captain Cat looks a threat on his recent form over 8f but was was well beaten when attempting today's trip at Newmarket in August. Stepping Ahead ended last season with victory at Doncaster but that came in soft ground and Lowther is preferred back over a more suitable shorter distance. He's closely matched with Shavansky on earlier form at Kempton while Halfsin has the beating of Stevie Thunder on their running at the same track. Today's longer trip is a worry for Loyalty and Come On Blue Chip, who could have both been better drawn.
