In depth

Verdict

A number of these have campaigned in plating company recenlty and it will be interesting to see how Passionate Affair and Archduchess get on having fought out a tremendous finish in a seller over course and distance last month. Treasure The Ridge was an emphatic winner of a selling handicap over 1m2f and Andrew Reid's five-year-old should have no problem with the extra distance, but we will stick with SWEETHEART ABBEY. William Knight's filly has been knocking on the door for some time and Tom Queally retains the mount having been aboard for the last two starts. She was arguably given a little too much to do on her most recent visit to Lingfield though her turn doesn't appear to be too far away. The Wallace Line is Tim Vaughan's only runner on the card, and having recently joined the handler from the Mick Channon team, the gelding will be tried in headgear for the first time.
