Verdict

Those with experience posted only modest efforts on their respective debuts with LIVING LEGEND and Chinese Alphabet finishing closest though failing to threaten. But the former may well have been in the mix at Bath if not for a stumble in the closing stages and Mark Johnston’s colt gets a speculative vote. Surrey Warrior and Debbonair are likely improvers while All Points West is a brother to winner over 7f and makes most appeal of the newcomers ahead of Indian Copper.
