Verdict
Only one piece of form to work on and whilst Toulaman and The Darling Boy set a decent standard, the feeling is that one of the newcomers may be good enough and we will take a chance on BOLANDERI ahead of Tigerbythetale. With a strike-rate of over 20% with his bumper runners on the all-weather, trainer Andy Turnell must be respected. The cheap but nicely-bred Bolanderi looks the pick of his two on jockey bookings and he gets the vote. Tigerbythetale is related to several winners in Europe and needs watching in the betting, whilst Action Girl and Highland Patriot are other interesting flat-breds who come from successful families. The Darling Boy and Toulaman clashed three weeks ago at Huntingdon when the former came off best; they both command respect but neither showed any great acceleration and this track may not be ideal. Tricky, but a chance is taken on Bolanderi.
