Verdict

Crossing The Bar won over 1m6f on the Flat when trained by Sir Michael Stoute but Rock Of Fame was 0-8 on the level and hasn’t raced in more than 12 months. Lady Isabel was successful over 1m4f at Newbury last month, however, and Green Planet was second over 1m5f on soft going here in the spring and also runner-up on his hurdles bow at Bangor. Jersey faced a stiff task at Ludlow at the start of the month but this can go to DUKE OF ROCKINGHAM, who bolted up after a break in a Uttoxeter bumper and is bred for jumping. Ocean Heights has placed on the all-weather since winning a Stratford bumper but French import Heltenham might have more scope and looks a bigger danger.
