In depth

Verdict

Charlie Bear looked a very nice prospect when completing a double at Dundalk early last year. The fact that he's had a long absence is a concern but Jamie Osborne should have him fit and ready to go and he looks the main threat to SHYRON. George Margason's charge was in superb form here, finishing runner-up in two Class 2 handicaps before winning one last month. He ran much better than the finishing position suggests at Kempton last time and this looks a good opportunity to get back on the winning trail. Easy Tiger has won twice over the course and distance and made a very encouraging return on the track earlier this month when runner-up to Exchequer with Presumido a length away in third but Mr Bossy Boots has only won in lower grade. Goring's only all-weather run was at Wolverhampton where he finished first past the post but was later disqualified for technical reasons
