In depth

Verdict

Tealissio won on soft ground at Leicester a year ago and was third on that track eight days ago. He's certainly one for the short-list here while Golanova has made a promising start over hurdles and wasn't beaten far in a novices' handicap at Wincanton last month. He's 3lb higher today but still preferred to Dark And Dangerous and The Bull Hayes. SMART MONEY has his first start for the in-form Venetia Williams team having won a Fairyhouse handicap on heavy ground for Jim Culloty in February. He is probably fairly treated so gets a tentative vote.
