Katiypour can make fitness count over Bobski, with St Petersburg and Trifti two more with claims. Katiypour ran a blinder in defeat when just touched off by Fajr here three weeks ago, and as that was his first outing since contesting a valuable handicap at Ascot in September, he is entitled to improve enough to go one better. Granted, the handicapper needs to show some respite, but with a good draw in stall two to help, we will be disappointed if the 10-year-old does not go close to claiming a fifth course success. Bobski has had a 75-day break since barging his way through to score over seven furlongs here in November, and although not guaranteed to stay, lines up as one of the more fancied contenders. St Petersburg has one or two bits of placed form in decent company to his name, while Trifti is not badly handicapped on his best form, but has not won since 2005. All in all, in what could be a close-knit affair, it is Katiypour that looks the one to be on.
