Verdict
Ioweyou, Scarlet Oak and Royal Dagger look the three to concentrate on in this desperate maiden and the narrow vote is given to Scarlet Oak. The selection finished in mid-division behind Endiamo last time and with the drop in trip looking to be in her favour she is given the tentative nomination. Royal Dagger rates the main danger on his debut third behind Ronnie Howe, he looks sure to improve and will not be far away in this shocking affair. Ioweyou would have a chance on his best form but he appears to have gone backwards of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Priceless Melody is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Scarlet Oak.
