Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

THEATRE STREET is fancied to take centre stage although Quick Single is progressing well and Flamsteed should prove capable of better. Jeremy Noseda has made a good start to 2009 with six winners from fourteen runners and it will be disappointing if there isn't more to come from this daughter of Invincible Spirit. She finished just under a length behind Comadoir when in receipt of 5lbs on her penultimate start and did carry her head a little high but we're inclined to put that down to inexperience and expect her to improve for the step back up in trip. Comadoir has an obvious chance on that form line whilst Quick Single appears to have been revitalised by a change of yard and is going from strength to strength. Flamsteed converted a penalty kick on his latest start but that may have boosted his confidence and he could be progressive. The Winged Assasin was a length in front of Mick Quinn's runner off levels on debut for his current yard whilst Vegas Baby and Smokey Ryder are more exposed but couldn't be ruled out. This is a tight knit handicap but Theatre Street may have enough improvement in her to steal the scene.
