In depth

Verdict

PENMORE HILL was sent off favourite over a longer trip at Kelso last month but was beaten when unseating his rider at the last. The drop in distance should suit, and as long as that experience hasn't affected his confidence, Fred Hutsby's eight-year-old can get back on track here. Shy John and Trouble Digger have both been in good form between the flags and could figure while Rocklandslad has won eight times in point-to-points but was pulled up over this trip at Bangor on his reappearance. Swallows Delight has some ability and looks the pick of the remainder.
