    Verdict

    FUNNY MAN bids for a hat-trick raised a further 7lb after scoring over 1m4f at Doncaster. But David O’Meara’s charge won over today’s trip before that and is just preferred to Narina. Headgear is applied to latter as she steps up in distance having won over 1m4f at Chepstow on her handicap debut while Hermocrates was placed at Bath on his first attempt at the distance. Arthur Pendragon looks up against it on what little he has shown so far.
