        Verdict

        Sholay shaped up well last season and is open to any amount of improvement. His stable is in fine form at present and his is sure to be a warm order in the ring. However, Historic Treble has a race of this nature in him and may be able to put his experience to good use. He has fared well in the face of some stiff tasks of late and should fare better now he is returned to his own age-group. Scalando should also be thereabouts and may gain some compensation for some near misses of late.
