In depth

Verdict

Pyrus Time is consistent and sets a fair standard but a chance is taken on one of the newcomers, and that horse is HALLSTATT who is preferred to Jabroot. The selection is a son of Halling who looks to be starting off at about the right trip. The trainer can get one ready and it would be no surprise if the market speaks in his favour and he runs well accordingly. Brandy Butter is a half-brother to Banknote and deserves immediate respect accordingly, whilst Fidler Bay and Beat Companion may be better in time. Lords A Leaping, Tribal Rule and Diamond Dee have all shown some ability in one start apiece, whilst Pyrus Time is consistent and officially rated 77 is the one to beat on the figures. Whatami is bred to make up into a better three-year-old, whereas newcomer Jabroot looks sure to get every yard of his trip and is considered on debut as a big threat. This looks an interesting race and we will plump for Hallstatt.
