Verdict

Comeintothespace has the highest rating of these to have actually earned one but the five-year-old is proving to be rather expensive to follow and a better bet looks to be Grey Paint, with Conservation rated the pick of the remainder. The selection did not progress as much as may have been anticipated on the level when with Richard Hannon but the switch to the winter game may be the making of David Pipe's gelding and, after two promising starts over hurdles, he looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account. War Feather was nothing out of the ordinary on the flat and of more interest may be Robert Alner's Sunset Boulevard, although he may do better over further. Peter Bowen's Conservation is probably better than he showed on his hurdling debut and has to be respected but Grey Paint has solid claims and is hard to oppose.
