Memorandum is respected but looks no more than fairly handicapped and we'll take a chance with BOOGIE WALTZER ahead of Roger Charlton's runner and Vilnius. Memorandum ran on well to open her account over course and distance by a head and a short-head and the form looks reliable with the placed horses running to a similar level next time. She's entitled to progress and is on a fair mark but no more than that. Vilnius is respected and unexposed on the all-weather but her best performance on an artificial surface came at Wolverhampton whilst she was outpaced on visits to Kempton and Lingfield and it's possible that the line could come too soon. Kummel Excess may have more to offer but preference is for Boogie Waltzer who is closely matched with Vilnius on their running at Nottingham. She should possess sufficient speed for this test and is open to further progress and her yard is going well so Boogie Waltzer gets the nod.
