Verdict

Anonymous John steps up in distance as he bids for a four-timer and has obvious claims if lasting home. But KAUFMANN looks just as progressive having followed a maiden victory at Wolverhampton with a winning handicap debut over 7f at the same track. John Gosden's colt is worth sticking in this and is also preferred to Classic Seniority, who only won a claimer over 6f here last week. Rockaroundtheclock couldn't cope with a rise in the weights last time having won on his previous outings and has something to find but Chicago Bere shouldn't be ignored off bottom weight.
