Verdict
Rydan is frustrating in the main but did finish ahead of Continuum when second at Kempton last time and will probably pop up when least expected. However, he faces a couple of in-form rivals here in CAPTAIN NAVARRE and Island Brave. Both are seeking hat-tricks and the latter has a win here to his name, though both recent victories have come at Wolverhampton. Charlie Fellowes’ charge has now won his last three on the all-weather and is already proven over the trip so gets the nod. Royal Reserve turned in a shocker last time at Newcastle so is best watched today.
