Verdict

Just the five runners line up for this handicap but every one of the quintet has claims, particularly the lightly raced Under Review and Flamsteed, but it is CHASCA that gets the vote. Amanda Perrett's filly won despite finding trouble in running and having been hampered at the start on her debut here earlier this month, staying on well to beat True Decision, and she looks to be feasibly well treated off a mark of just 66. Under Review is bound to be popular with backers following his success at Southwell last time but Simon Callaghan's gelding is likely to be better suited by the Fibresand than the Polytrack given his pedigree and looks worth taking on under his weight. Richard Hannon has his team in good from so Robin The Till has to be respected but he has a bit to find with the selection on running last time, while Raimond Ridge is more exposed than his opponents and looks booked for a place at best. Mick Quinn's Flamsteed made an encouraging first start in a handicap when chasing home Smokey Ryder here last time and he has to be considered but Chasca looks well treated for her debut in a handicap and she gets the vote.
