Verdict
SECOND THOUGHT won the Championships sprint for three-year-olds on last year’s card and has subsequently landed a double in Listed company. He made short-work of the opposition at Wolverhampton on his recent comeback and the Haggas colt makes most appeal. Arcanada has returned to action in terrific form and bids for a four-timer having already beaten Gabrial on a couple of occasions while Goring has the measure of several of these having notched-up a fourth consecutive course and distance success with last month’s defeat of Mr Scaramanga. Captain Joy won this for Ireland in 2016 and returned to winning ways at Dundalk last time while King Malpic journeys over from France having scored on the Polytrack at Chantilly recently.
