    In depth

    Verdict

The Tide Turns has returned a losing favourite the last twice while Murhib’s recent placed effort at Chelmsford came over a longer trip. Son Of Red has won over hurdles since scoring at Southwell when last seen on the Flat but it could pay to stick with JAWHARY (NAP). The latter made a winning handicap debut at Goodwood when giving the impression this extra distance will suit and Owen Burrows’ charge gets the vote to go in again. Bascule’s earlier attempt at today’s trip fails to inspire confidence while Liberated Lad had leading claims at Catterick yesterday.
