Verdict
Don Pele gets the nod here after winning his last start in claiming company, at the main expense of Moon Bird and Who's Winning. Declan Carroll claimed the gelding after that claiming win and he will be hoping to place the horse to his advantage, and this doesn't look the strongest of contests. Moon Bird enjoys this track and travels strongly during her races, and after an unlucky run when second eleven days ago, she could gain some compensation today. Who's Winning has been running in better company of late, and this drop in class could be enough for him to get his head in front. However his all-weather record is poor and so he is passed over in favour of the selection, Declan Carroll's Don Pele.
