        Verdict

        Enough pace on here to suit FINAL VERSE who is nominated ahead of Den's Gift and Spiritual Art. Robert Winston looks a good jockey booking for the selection who wasn't disgraced over ten furlongs at the track earlier in the month. The drop back to this trip is in his favour and he still looks capable of winning off this mark of 79. Southandwest is a course winner and he is edging down the handicap, Pegasus Again didn't go down without a fight behind Mr Willis last time but is punished with a 2lb higher mark, whilst Den's Gift is another course and distance winner who ran well from the front when last seen. Totally Focussed and Ravi River both have consistency as a strong-point, Gallantry is handicapped to strike when he gets the race run to suit, whilst Head Down may fare better now returned to the scene of his August win. Course and distance regular Spiritual Art searches for a fourth career win off a career high mark of 75 but is still considered off bottom-weight, however for the winner we are happy to return to Final Verse.
