Verdict
The veteran Triple Dream is still capable at this level as he proved when scoring at Kempton recently while Colourbearer has gone close in a couple of subsequent starts since winning at Chelmsford in March. Dunnscotia ended last season with a string of seconds and should finally be winning this year though has not raced since August while STRAITS OF MALACCA has been thereabouts of late as he attempts to win on the all-weather for the first time. It could be his turn today considering he won off a 14lb higher mark at Thirsk last year and Simon Dow’s charge gets the nod.
