Mark Usher trained a 66/1 newcomer to win this a year ago so the presence of Kimbelle is intriguing. Broadway Icon has improved with each run and wasn't beaten far in what looked a strong Wolverhampton maiden last time. CAMBODIA couldn't get to the long odds-on Severini on his opening run at Kempton but came from a long way back and should have come on enough to go one better. Charmy made a promising start over this trip at Newmarket and hasn't quite been getting home over a mile subsequently. Figurante dead-heated with Dark Forest for second behind Dancing Star at Windsor in August but those two rivals have done little for the form. Best New Show and Shypen have enough experience to make their presence felt in a tricky maiden.
