In depth

Verdict

A couple of these fell victim to Godolphin horses last time with Tyrrhenian Sea going close behind the higher rated Blue Trail and BASE NOTE finding the Group 1 winner Rebel’s Romance, rated 120, too good at Kempton. The Crisfords’ charge is taken to come out best of that pair and confirm latest running with both Blanchland and Zarabanda in the process. There was little between Makinmedoit and Alrehb over a shorter trip at Kempton while Youthful King and Verbier also have plenty to find at the weights though the latter has lots of scope for improvement.
