Verdict

Aidan O’Brien won this race last year and CONGO RIVER appears a very solid call in this affair if he can reproduce his debut second at the Curragh. McCauley's Tavern was just behind in third on that occasion while Blindsided also re-opposes having looked to have been very much in need of the experience. Roman Hands is out of a dam that stayed a mile so anything achieved today is likely to be viewed as a bonus.
