Verdict

Guitar Pete, who went on to Grade One glory at Leopardstown and Aintree, won this in 2013 and there are a few nice prospects in today's line-up. DODGYBINGO was only fourth behind Auld Brig at Roscommon but not beaten far. Well backed on his second start at Down Royal, he didn't disappoint in beating Zig Zag by nine lengths with East Coker further behind and can reverse that debut form with Martin Brassil's charge. Linger beat Father Mattie at Tipperary last month but was a little disappointing when beaten next time at Cartmel and Eamonn O'Connell's runner could turn the tables today. Lord Justice was placed twice over 1m2f on the Flat and looks the type to make a hurdler so is probably the pick of the newcomers.
