Verdict

Whoshotthesheriff was beaten 23l when runner-up at Downpatrick and will need to do much better than that. Kerrkenny Gold ran well for a long way at Punchestown in April and should have come on enough to make his presence felt while Dont Go Mad has shown a bit of potential on heavy ground and today's conditions should be more in his favour. Let The Heirs Walk caught the eye at Roscommon last month and Secret Cargo didn't perform badly at Killarney though this shouldn't take much winning and SEMPO can make a successful debut. Joseph O'Brien's charge will do better when faced with a set of obstacles but should have enough pace for this and has the added bonus of Derek O'Connor in the saddle.
