Spruce Meadows was on a long losing run when bouncing back to form at Down Royal but has been hit with an 8lb rise. FRANKLYN (NAP) completed a double on good going in mid-summer but made a bold bid for a hat-trick over 1m4f on heavy going at Roscommon and will be much better suited by trip and ground here. Lady Scathach has won three times this summer, all over a mile, but Ideal Pal has been unable to cope with the extra weight after completing a hat-trick. Prosecution won this last year from a 1lb higher mark though hasn't been in the same kind of form while Bella Cora has been well beaten over hurdles since a very good run in a big field at the Curragh.
