Verdict

Gordon Elliott won the first running of this last year and Silver Star showed improved form at Kilbeggan but this is a much more difficult task. Willie Mullins has two entries and both Aramon and Eglantine Du Seuil looked smart prospects on their debuts for the yard. The former scored on the Flat in Germany and had no problems landing the odds at Kilbeggan last month while the latter, a winning bumper in France, never really looked like being beaten at Sligo. In receipt of 11lb it's the filly who may come out best though both could be beaten by TRIPLICATE. Joseph O'Brien's charge was well supported at the Galway festival and comfortably saw off Mr Everest, who boosted the form when scoring on the Flat here on Thursday. Mary B ran in top bumper company after her debut victory at Gowran and she'll be winning over hurdles before long.
