Verdict
LUCKY WILLIAM would probably have made a winning debut over fences at Tipperary in October but fell at the second last. He did well enough in subsequent starts to suggest he can have a successful campaign and can make a winning return. Son Of Oscar would have finished a long way behind in that Tipperary contest but definitely improved as the season progressed and is the type to do better. Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Sorceror looks a big threat as he was only a couple of lengths behind Lucky William at Naas in October and has the scope to make a nice chaser. First Impressions gained a shock victory in a maiden hurdle at Naas in March and was always likely to do better when tackling the bigger obstacles.
