Verdict

Willie Mullins has won this for the past three years and though the hat-trick seeking FUGI MOUNTAIN faces a trio of last-time winners he should continue the stable's dominance. He completed his double with great authority at Galway and the only doubt concerns the going as he's yet to face such conditions and has to concede weight all round. The form of Its'afreebee's Bellewstown victory was given a massive boost when runner-up Volvalien gained a spectacular success here on Sunday. The four-year-old Walkers Point has improved with each run and made all for a comfortable victory at Cork, though that was on good ground, while Lockeen Girl gained a surprise success on ground with some give at Kilbeggan.
